Argentine driver Franco Colapinto competed in his fifth Formula 1 race, finishing 12th at the Mexican Grand Prix, which took place on Sunday, October 27. Colapinto, from Pilar, had just scored a point in Austin, and despite not scoring in Mexico, he concluded with an outstanding performance at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
The Williams team announced that Colapinto will continue competing in Formula 1 for the rest of the season, taking the place of American Logan Sargeant. After his participation in Mexico, the Argentine driver has at least four more races left in the championship.
The next race in which Franco Colapinto will participate will be the Brazilian Grand Prix, which will be held at the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo during the weekend of November 3, corresponding to the twenty-first round of Formula 1.
After Brazil, Colapinto is scheduled to compete in at least three more dates on the Formula 1 calendar. The next scheduled races are Las Vegas on November 24, Qatar on December 1, and Abu Dhabi on December 8.
