In an interview with Marcelo Longobardi on Radio Rivadavia, she expressed her surprise at the union between two such different generations and the magnitude of the tribute. Ghio mentioned that Reutemann used to point out that while the public saw motorsports as something glamorous, for those who practice it, it's something completely different.
The ex-wife of the iconic racer also emphasized the discretion of drivers not to talk about accidents during the races but to do so after they finish. Ghio revealed her plans to travel to Brazil for the Grand Prix at the request of her nephew, as Colapinto will pay tribute to Reutemann at this event. Her nephew excitedly told her that they had to go to Rio de Janeiro because the driver will race with Carlos's helmet, which moved her.
