The experienced forward Ramón Ábila and the young midfielder Tobías Leiva have been separated from the Estudiantes de Río Cuarto squad. This decision was made jointly by coach Gerardo Acuña and the club's management. According to the Argentine News Agency, the former Boca Juniors player and the youth on loan from River Plate until the end of the year were removed from the squad along with eight other players. On their social networks, the Córdoba-based club stated that "this measure is the result of a consensus between the leadership and the technical secretariat after evaluating situations that do not align with the commitment, dedication, and sporting objectives that our institution has always pursued and demanded." It was also communicated that the affected players "will train separately from the rest of the group under the supervision of designated club personnel."
