Argentine legend Lionel Messi has expressed regret for not learning the English language. The world champion and current Inter Miami player, formerly of Barcelona and PSG, said: 'In my last year in Argentina, I didn't complete my studies because I was about to move to Spain. I came to Barcelona's academy at a young age and I regret not studying English, as it cost me great opportunities to talk to important people. I feel somewhat ignorant'.
