Argentina, Buenos Aires — The draws for the main draw of the Argentina Open, an ATP 250 tournament to be held from February 9-15 at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club with eleven Argentine players participating, have been finalized. The winners of the first-round matches will face off to determine who advances to the quarterfinals. Federico Coria (312), who received a wildcard, will play against Italian Matteo Berrettini (58). Meanwhile, Facundo Díaz Acosta (301), the 2024 champion, will have a tough debut against Chilean Alejandro Tabilo (73). Juan Manuel Cerúndolo (85) will face German Daniel Altmaier (44), and Alex Barrena (189) will make his debut against Czech Vit Kopriva (97). Luciano Darderi, the second seed, awaits his opponent in the second round, who will emerge from the match between Argentines Cristián Garín (92) and Marcelo Barrios Vera (112). Additionally, João Fonseca (34), the current Argentine champion, will face the winner of the match between Díaz Acosta and Tabilo.
