The Argentine rugby sevens team, 'Pumas 7s', has announced the squad for the upcoming legs in Singapore and Perth. The team will compete in Singapore on January 31 and February 1, and then in Perth on February 7 and 8, for the third and fourth rounds of the SVNS 2025/2026 season. Following their title win in Mar del Plata at the 'Super Seven', the team used the tournament to consolidate the group and adjust after a significant squad overhaul. Head coach Santiago Gómez Cora explained that the decision to field the main team at the Atlantic coast was based on a post-first-leg sporting evaluation. He emphasized the need for playing time for recently incorporated players and to strengthen collective performance. The coaching staff believes the team is prepared to face the most demanding part of the calendar. Gómez Cora warned that Singapore and Perth will present additional challenges due to travel fatigue, time zone changes, and the parity of the competition. After the tournament, the squad held a training camp in Pinamar, where performance was analyzed and concepts were finalized for the international tour.
