Matías Rossi completed the podium without risking more than necessary to secure the championship. With this sixth crown, Rossi is now just one title short of Juan María Traverso's all-time record, the most champion in TC2000 history, and reaffirmed his status as one of the great figures in the category during a season that also marked a technical turning point with the definitive arrival of SUVs. The championship was decided in the final round of the 46th Argentine TC2000 Championship, held at the Autódromo Eusebio Marcilla, where Rossi secured the title after finishing third in the Final. This result was sufficient after his main rival and teammate, Emiliano Stang, suffered a left front tire puncture while leading the race. This achievement made Toyota the first champion brand since the incorporation of SUV models into the technical regulations. For Rossi, it was also a personal milestone, as he became the first driver to win a championship with this type of vehicle, at the wheel of a Toyota Corolla Cross from the Toyota Gazoo Racing team. The triumph marked Toyota's fifth championship in TC2000 history. The first came in 2002 with Norberto Fontana, while the others were won by Rossi in 2011, 2013, 2020, and now in 2025. This new title allowed the Japanese brand to break the dominance of the last three championships won by Leonel Pernía alongside Marcelo Ambrogio's team. Rossi closed the season with two wins, five podiums, and three pole positions, accumulating 193 points. In Junín, the victory went to local driver Gabriel Ponce de León, also in a Toyota Corolla Cross, while Franco Vivian was second in a Chevrolet Tracker.
