The event took place on Friday at the John F. Kennedy Center in the U.S. capital of Washington, covered by the Argentine News Agency (NA). As the reigning world champions, Scaloni handed over the trophy following Argentina's victory at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. “I remember it as an unforgettable final where many things happened, and our team, despite the difficulties, kept believing. At no point did we think that match could end badly. That's what we will try to do in the next World Cup, to keep competing and never give up, that's what our people expect,” Scaloni stated.
