Verstappen Confident Ahead of Final Grand Prix

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen showed confidence at the press conference ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the final round of the Formula 1 season, and stated he has "nothing to lose." According to Noticias Argentinas agency, Verstappen put pressure on his main competitors, McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, by asserting that he "shouldn't even be fighting for the title." The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will take place this weekend, with the race to decide the next champion of the category scheduled for Sunday, December 7th, at 10:00 (Argentine time). Max Verstappen arrives at the final race in second place in the Drivers' Championship and, as he stated at a press conference where he appeared very confident and calm, he has "nothing to lose." The Dutchman mentioned that his parents didn't even travel with him to the circuit where he could win his fifth World Championship. Furthermore, regarding the hypothetical possibility of Piastri letting him pass in the next race, Norris said: "I'd love it, but I'm not going to ask him." Piastri reacted to this comment with a smile, making it clear that he hasn't decided what he would do, but will determine it on the track if the opportunity arises. The one arriving at the final race with the best chance of becoming champion is Lando Norris, who has 408 points and is in a position to secure his first title.
