Manchester City defeated Fulham 5-4 in a match for the 14th round of the English Premier League. The match took place today at Craven Cottage. For the 'Citizens', Phil Foden scored a brace, along with goals from Tijjani Reijnders, Erling Haaland, and an own goal from Sander Berge. For the home side, striker Samuel Chukwueze also scored a brace, with goals from midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe and winger Alex Iwobi. Erling Haaland opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a powerful left-footed strike, marking his 100th goal in the Premier League. Twenty minutes later, Reijnders made it 2-0. In the 43rd minute, an excellent corner kick led to a Foden goal, making it 3-0, though Smith-Rowe headed one back in first-half stoppage time. City started the second half with a goal from Foden in the 2nd minute, and Berge turned a Doku shot into his own net for 5-1. Fulham fought back with goals from Iwobi and Chukwueze, but it was not enough.
