Argentine driver Franco Colapinto competed in the Qatar Grand Prix, the 23rd race of the Formula 1 championship, but failed to score points this season. In qualifying, Colapinto had a poor performance, finishing in 19th place. In the sprint race, he started from the pit lane, managed to overtake Sergio Pérez and Guanyu Zhou, but still crossed the line in 18th position. In the main qualifying, he again showed only 19th place, beating only his Alpine teammate Esteban Ocon. The worst came on Sunday when Colapinto had to retire at the first corner as Ocon crashed in a chaotic start. This marked a forgettable Grand Prix for the Argentine, who will now look to improve in 2024 to score his first points of the year. Next week, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will conclude the 2025 Formula 1 season.
