Argentinian driver Franco Colapinto has confirmed his continuation as a main race driver for the Alpine Formula 1 team through 2026. The announcement was made after his main sponsor, Mercado Libre, shared a video communicating the news. In response, two iconic Argentine entities expressed their support: football club Boca Juniors, of which Colapinto is a die-hard fan, and music producer Bizarrap. Boca Juniors posted a photo of the driver in the team's blue and gold jersey with the message: "One of ours, the greatest success." Bizarrap, a close friend of Colapinto who financially supported him during the past crucial season, also reacted to the news, writing: "Let's go, buddy!". The official Formula 1 account also commented on the contract, addressing Bizarrap: "What do you think, @bizarrap? Let's go, Franco".
