Argentina's Rugby 7s Team Falls to New Zealand

The Argentine rugby sevens team lost 38-17 to New Zealand in the third place match of the World Circuit in Los Angeles. Despite having defeated Great Britain and France, the Argentine team couldn't surpass South Africa in the group stage and lost to Spain in the semifinals. With this defeat, the Pumas 7s finished in fourth place in the World Circuit, despite having led the regular season.

Argentina's first try came in the first minute thanks to Tobías Wade, but New Zealand quickly responded and took the lead. Sofai Naka and Ngarohi McGarvey-Black were key in the 'All Blacks' offense, achieving a 24-5 lead at the end of the first half. Despite Argentine efforts in the second half, New Zealand remained solid and extended their lead, closing the match with a final score of 38-17.

In the semifinal against Spain, the Pumas 7s were unable to dominate and fell 20-5. Despite an attempt to come back with tries from Marcos Moneta and Luciano González, the Argentine team could not contain Spain's offensive play, which secured victory with three tries in the second half. The expulsion of Santiago Mare for a high tackle also impacted the final result, leaving Argentina in fourth place in the tournament.
