Sofai Naka and Ngarohi McGarvey-Black were key in the 'All Blacks' offense, achieving a 24-5 lead at the end of the first half. Despite Argentine efforts in the second half, New Zealand remained solid and extended their lead, closing the match with a final score of 38-17.
In the semifinal against Spain, the Pumas 7s were unable to dominate and fell 20-5. Despite an attempt to come back with tries from Marcos Moneta and Luciano González, the Argentine team could not contain Spain's offensive play, which secured victory with three tries in the second half. The expulsion of Santiago Mare for a high tackle also impacted the final result, leaving Argentina in fourth place in the tournament.
