The Mar del Plata tennis player Horacio Zeballos achieved a remarkable victory this Saturday by winning the doubles title at the Madrid Masters 1000 alongside Marcel Granollers. In the final of the tournament, they defeated Marcelo Arévalo and Mate Pavic in straight sets 6-4 and 6-4 at the iconic Caja Mágica on clay, demonstrating their skill on the court once again.

Zeballos has once again written a golden page for Argentine tennis, showcasing his experience, talent, and relevance in the sport. This victory represents a partial revenge for Argentine tennis following Francisco Cerúndolo's defeat in the individual semifinals. Horacio Zeballos is solidifying his status as one of the great figures in Argentine tennis on the international stage with this new title.

The duo formed by Zeballos and Granollers, the fifth-seeded team of the tournament, took advantage of a crucial break in the fifth game of the first set to gain an edge and maintain it solidly throughout the match. Despite a tough start in the second set, they showed composure and character to turn the situation around and seal the title with authority at the Manolo Santana Stadium in just one hour and 15 minutes.

With this victory, Zeballos reached his 24th title in his career and his 12th alongside Granollers, establishing himself as one of the most successful pairs in the current circuit. Furthermore, they now have a total of eight Masters 1000 titles together, once again demonstrating their excellent performance in tournaments of this category.
