Argentine forward Lucas Beltrán, currently at Fiorentina, expressed his desire to return to River in the future, although he indicated that for the moment he sees himself staying in Europe for a while longer. Nevertheless, Beltrán confessed to having the ambition to fulfill several dreams with the club of Núñez.
During an interview, Beltrán acknowledged that he sees Marcelo Gallardo, the head coach of River, working tirelessly to improve the current situation of the team, which is currently third in Zone B of the Apertura Tournament of the 2025 League Cup.
In addition, the Albiceleste forward shared advice for River's Colombian forward, Miguel Ángel Borja, who is going through a goal drought in the local championship. Beltrán recommended seeking confidence in other game situations to be prepared when the opportunity to score arises.
Regarding his aspiration to be called up again to the Argentine National Team, after being excluded from the recent squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Beltrán continues to work to stand out at Fiorentina and earn a place in future call-ups.
