Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani could reinforce Boca's team in the eleventh matchday of the tournament. In the meantime, Cavani is already thinking about the important challenge Boca will face in the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States. In an interview with FIFA, he expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the tournament and highlighted the importance it has for his career and for a club with Boca's history.

"Living an experience like this, at this stage of my career, is something beautiful. Boca has a lot of history in these types of competitions," affirmed the "Matador." Cavani also emphasized the unwavering support of the fans and the mobilization that Boca generates in any football follower.

With sights on the present but with the excitement of the Club World Cup in mind, Boca continues to prepare for a year that could be historic. The team's objective in every tournament is to win, because, as Cavani pointed out, history demands it. The next challenge will be against Newell’s on March 30 in the 2025 Apertura Tournament, after a convincing victory against Defensa y Justicia.

In the tournament, Boca will share a group with Bayern Munich, Benfica, and Auckland City, and Cavani made it clear that the team aims for the highest goals. With a squad recovering from injuries, Boca had a special training session with open practice. Alan Velasco and Ignacio Miramón trained with the group, a good piece of news for coach Fernando Gago after the injuries to Ander Herrera and Williams Alarcón.

Additionally, Camilo Rey Domenech is in the final stage of his recovery and his presence in the next match is not ruled out. Expectations are high for the duel against Newell’s, and fans are eagerly awaiting the team's performance in the tournament.
