The president of Independiente, Néstor Grindetti, pointed out the growth of the club in recent years and marked the Copa Libertadores as the great objective of the institution. In an interview on Splendid AM990, Grindetti praised the professionalism and commitment of the coaching staff, led by Julio Vaccari.

"We are on the right track, we shouldn't be overly ambitious, we have improved," said Grindetti, highlighting the consolidation of the team both on the football field and in the group dynamic. He emphasized the work of the Board of Directors and noted Independiente's current stability compared to two years ago.

The president highlighted the performance of Luciano Cabral, called up by the Chilean national team, considering him one of the great promises of Argentine football. He also stressed the importance of key players like Iván Marcone, whom he described as "essential" to the team, even comparing him to Bochini and praising his value to the squad.

Grindetti acknowledged that, beyond the management and the work of the coaching staff, what matters most is what happens on the pitch. He expressed his desire for Independiente to participate in the Copa Libertadores in the short term and his enthusiasm for the current squad's level.

"We are all fans and we want the ball to go in and to win on Sunday," concluded Grindetti, highlighting the importance of results on the pitch and the passion of the supporters for the team.
