In the fifth round of the Primera Nacional, several surprises stood out in the results. Quilmes achieved its first victory by defeating All Boys 3-1. Meanwhile, Los Andes managed to tie 1-1 against San Martín de Tucumán in the last minute thanks to a goal from Guillermo Pereira.

Tristán Suárez added three points by defeating Güemes from Santiago del Estero and climbed to first place in Zone A. Ferro defeated Deportivo Maipú, who had been leading their zone until the previous weekend.
