Cabral has been a standout figure under the management of Julio Vaccari this season, so his absence will be felt at the Estadio Único de San Nicolás. However, he is expected to recover in time to face Banfield in the eighth round of the Torneo Apertura.
Cabral's injury occurred during the last match at the Estadio Libertadores de América, where Independiente beat Instituto 2-0. Federico Mancuello would be the chosen one to replace the Chilean midfielder in the starting lineup.
