LaLiga Profesional Inspects Vélez Field Conditions

LaLiga Profesional de Fútbol expressed concern about the state of the playing field at the Vélez stadium, which generated complaints during the match against Platense. In light of this situation, it was decided to carry out an inspection before the match against San Lorenzo to assess its condition.

Recently, authorities communicated through various channels the importance of complying with regulatory requirements regarding the playing field, warning of the possibility of changing the venue for the match if these standards are not met.

The inspection at the Vélez stadium was conducted this Tuesday with the aim of thoroughly analyzing the situation, ensuring that, if work to improve the ground is maintained, the match could take place at the José Amalfitani. However, the final decision depends on LaLiga Profesional and could change if the situation does not improve.

According to reports from DSports Radio, the home team was given 24 hours to improve the playing field, which may have been affected by adverse weather conditions. Despite this, it is expected that Vélez will be able to play at their stadium in Liniers and will not be forced to change venues.

On the other hand, the reigning champion of the Liga Profesional de Fútbol took the complaints seriously and worked in collaboration with agronomist engineer Sebastián Ruggeri to ensure that Vélez can host their matches as home games.

In the coming days, Ruggeri will continue to work on the playing field together with groundskeeper Carlos García, hoping to maintain the possibility of playing in front of their fans in Liniers. Vélez is scheduled to host San Lorenzo this Saturday at 6 PM as part of the fourth round of the Torneo Apertura.
