The Professional Football League has adjusted the schedules of the matches scheduled for Friday and Saturday of the fourth round of the Apertura Tournament due to the high temperatures that have been affecting the country. It has been decided to postpone the start of several matches as a precautionary measure.
It is expected that the high temperatures will decrease in the coming days and not continue next weekend; however, the Professional League has made the decision to delay the aforementioned matches. During the third round of the championship, firefighters had to use hoses to cool off fans in the stadiums, as temperatures reached 40 degrees.
On Friday, February 7, the matches between Unión vs Argentinos Juniors and Independiente Rivadavia vs Estudiantes will start at 10:15 PM, as well as the classic between Racing and Boca scheduled for Saturday. On the other hand, the match between River and Independiente at the Monumental Stadium will begin at 8:15 PM on Saturday, one hour later than originally planned.
All matches of the fourth round of the Apertura Tournament have had adjustments to their schedules.
