In the second match of the 2025 Liga Profesional de Fútbol Apertura Tournament, River Plate faced Instituto de Córdoba. The match took place at the Ciudad de Vicente López stadium, officiated by Yael Falcón Pérez with VAR managed by Juan Pafundi. The broadcast was handled by TNT Sports.
