The union of bus drivers, led by Roberto Fernández, is in the middle of a mandatory conciliation that ends on October 28. After this date, the drivers could join the transport strike called for next Wednesday, October 30. In a meeting led by the Moyano family, the strike action that will affect trucks, trains, subways, planes, and boats was confirmed.

The strike aims to protest against the adjustments promoted by the government, the increase in fares due to the removal of subsidies, the possible privatization of Aerolíneas Argentinas, as well as the treatment of retirees and the rise in poverty. The head of the UTA mentioned that they have not yet defined their position on this due to the mandatory conciliation but will discuss in a meeting on Friday to decide on possible support for the strike.

"Fernández mentioned: 'We are dealing with our issues, with a mandatory conciliation. We have not said yes or no.' The leader indicated that they will make a decision after discussing with the workers during the meeting planned for Friday. The Union of Automotive Tramways will analyze their participation in the strike called by the National Transport Table as a way to express their discontent with government policies."

The UTA and its leader, Roberto Fernández, are evaluating whether to join the transport strike called in rejection of government policies. This decision will be made after a planned meeting on Friday, where the possible adherence to the strike action will be discussed with the workers.
