Division in the UCR: Carbajal criticizes De Loredo

Fernando Carbajal, national deputy for the Radical Civic Union (UCR), made strong statements regarding the internal situation of his bloc. Carbajal described his colleagues' visit to the Casa Rosada as an act of submission, claiming they went "with knee pads, crawling," and pointed out Rodrigo De Loredo as part of this group, subordinate to legislator Mariano Campero.

After the division of the UCR deputies' bloc, Carbajal revealed that the new bloc will be made up of 12 legislators and will be led by Pablo Juliano. Regarding De Loredo, Carbajal referred to him as a second-rate character, stating that he lost his leadership role in the party by not actively participating in committee meetings or showing a clear position.

Carbajal aligns himself with Facundo Manes and Martín Lousteau in this new scenario of the radical space, while Campero heads a group of five 'dialoguers' with close ties to libertarian officials. Carbajal criticized De Loredo's attitude of aligning with the government, considering it unsustainable to remain in that environment.

The deputy made it clear that the doors are open for others to join the new bloc, reiterating the position that the historical expression of radicalism cannot be associated with Javier Milei. For Carbajal, radicalism is based on social-democratic values that promote an efficient and transparent state as a driver of development and social welfare, thus differentiating itself from Milei's ideology.
