The outgoing Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, said goodbye to his post on Tuesday with a farewell message on social networks, where he thanked the team that accompanied him during his tenure and highlighted the work done both at the Ministry of the Interior and in the coordination of the Government.

"Thank you and goodbye," wrote the outgoing official and added: "Today I said goodbye to the team that accompanied me during my tenure, first as Minister of the Interior and subsequently as Chief of Cabinet of Ministers of the Nation."

The outgoing official accompanied the post with a video showing his team's applause.

The former coordinating minister stated that during his farewell, he thanked his collaborators for "their professionalism, commitment, and dedication that made it possible to fulfill our responsibilities, as well as the government plan we have carried forward."

Francos's departure adds to the recent movements in the first line of the Executive Branch, amidst the internal reconfiguration process of the Cabinet that President Javier Milei ordered as part of a new stage in his administration.

In his message, Francos avoided references to political tensions and focused on the evaluation of his team and the closing of his cycle at the head of the Chief of Staff, a position he had assumed after the departure of Nicolás Posse.
