Controversy Over Document Leaks in Argentina's Judiciary

The leader of the Polo Obrero (PO), Eduardo Belliboni, has filed a complaint regarding alleged document leaks in Prosecutor's Office No. 11, led by Gerardo Pollicita, who accuses him of defrauding the State. Belliboni and his defense attorney expressed their concern about these leaks, highlighting that these actions are part of a persecutory maneuver by the prosecutor's office.

"The leak is a sign of prejudgment, as this information is used to create a public mockery that contributes to establishing a false conviction," Alaniz pointed out regarding the document leaks to the media, which, according to her, have demonstrated a lack of neutrality in the criminal process and compromised the legitimate defense.

It is emphasized that the leaked information has been used to mount a propaganda campaign against organizations like the Polo Obrero. Belliboni recalled a previous case where the contents of the case were exposed in the media for the same purpose.

Additionally, it is mentioned that the prosecutor may have provided documents to journalist Luis Gasulla, who presented them on a television program before they were submitted to the judge in charge of the case. This situation has raised concern and is considered "a major institutional gravity."

In the issued statement, it is denounced that these leaks are part of a political manipulation of the case, orchestrated by the Government and with the complicity of the judicial apparatus. It is argued that the leaked information has been used to divert attention following citizen mobilizations, and it highlights the lack of guarantees for legitimate defense in this process.
