The President of the Nation, Javier Milei, is in Washington D. C., at the Capitol, to attend the inauguration ceremony of the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump. Milei is considered one of the main guests at the ceremony, as Trump sees him as a financial ally due to the agreements he has made with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Accompanying the Argentine President are his sister and Secretary of the Presidency, Karina Milei, as well as the Ministers of Economy and Foreign Affairs, Luis Caputo and Gerardo Werthein, respectively. Due to weather conditions, preparing for -15 degrees, the elected president has requested that the ceremony not take place on the Capitol's plaza but in the rotunda. Joe Biden will accompany Milei and the Joint Committee of Congress in the conduct of the Inaugural Ceremonies.
Presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, from Buenos Aires, has highlighted the importance of participation in this event, describing the occurrence as a reflection of a change of era. Adorni emphasized that Milei is becoming one of the few leaders to witness the inauguration, marking a significant change in global references.
The inauguration ceremony of Donald Trump, which the President of the Argentine Nation, Javier Milei, will attend, will take place tomorrow at 2 PM. "It is the winds of freedom that are felt in every corner of the world," noted Adorni.
