Agronomist engineer Augusto José Frías Calvo officially submitted his resignation as General Coordinator of Feeds and Grains of the Directorate of Food Safety and Quality of Vegetable Origin Products, an agency that is part of the National Directorate of Agro-food Safety and Quality, under the supervision of the National Service of Health and Agro-food Quality (SENASA).
Frías Calvo was appointed to this position in September 2020 and his term was extended through several resolutions issued between 2021 and 2024. However, he submitted his resignation through resolution No. RESOL-2024-1308, which was signed by the president of SENASA, Pablo Luis Cortese.
In this context, the Government will be responsible for finding a replacement for Augusto José Frías Calvo, who is recognized in the agro-export sector for his outstanding work.
