
On May 29, 2024, the counselors approved measures for digitization, depaperization, and transparency. In addition, during the session on December 18 of last year, the Innovation and Modernization Committee of the Administration and Finance Commission was integrated. The project is in its initial stage, under consideration by the authorities, and collects initiatives from counselors and various users. The project team consists of Hernan Rondinella, Nicolás Heity, and Juan Pautasso from the DGTH.
The implementation of artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions promises a significant impact on various dimensions of the National Judiciary, as these tools are designed to address key operational challenges, improving user experience and the efficiency of internal processes.
Expected benefits include improvements in operational efficiency, reduction of response times, optimization of human resources, user experience and satisfaction, strengthening of security and confidentiality, and scalability and sustainability.
Initially, among the services under study and development are External User Assistant, Internal Support Assistant, Intelligent Incident Classifier, Jurisprudence Conversational Assistant, assisted case law loading for the jurisprudence system, and Specific Assistants for different PJN Portals. As developments pass testing stages, they will be made available to judicial users with the corresponding authorization.
The National Council of the Judiciary, through the General Directorate of Technology, has initiated a project to develop tools related to artificial intelligence (AI) and large-scale language models (LLM) that transform operations and enhance user experience. This project is part of measures adopted by the council plenary.
