A woman reported to the Police that her daughter had gone missing while they were walking near the Lules River. The report was made at the local police station, which initiated a search operation involving the Police, Civil Defense, and emergency services. After intense searches, rescuers found the body of the girl, Kiara, seven years old, among the grasslands, near the river. She was dressed in a pink tank top, light blue denim shorts, and pink and gray sports shoes.
The Homicide Prosecutor's Unit of the capital, led by Pedro Gallo, intervened in the case and ordered the apprehension of the victim's mother and stepfather, residents of Lules. Both the mother and her partner remain detained while Justice investigates the circumstances of Kiara's death.
The girl's mother, Daniela, reported her daughter's disappearance around 5:30 in the morning. Following the discovery of Kiara's lifeless body in San Isidro de Lules, the prosecutor's office ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
