A 54-year-old man was found burned in a warehouse that housed a printing press in the Boedo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It was later confirmed that he had a gunshot wound to the head, suggesting it was a suicide.
Personnel from the 5 B Neighborhood Police Station responded to Quintino Bocayuva Street at 1400 after receiving a 911 call alerting about a person threatening to take his own life. Upon arrival, they found a fire, which prompted a request for the City Fire Department to control the flames and evacuate nearby residents.
During the subsequent inspection, the man was discovered inside the warehouse with a gunshot wound to the head and a rifle in his hands. Writings on the walls indicated job dissatisfaction and suggested a conflict with his colleagues.
The victim, identified as Eduardo Moguilevzky, was involved in a sexual abuse case that led to a previous raid where a firearm was seized. Authorities believe the man's suicide is related to the accusation against him and the impact of this situation on his life.
