During a preventive patrol on Provincial Route 303, the Colombres Police Station discovered two suspects carrying a bag with cannabis and a firearm with 57 .38 caliber cartridges. The amount of seized marijuana was valued at 1104 doses. In light of this situation, the Criminal Fiscal Unit took action and ordered the confiscation of the weapon, as well as the detention of the suspects to be made available to justice.

The men, aged 33 and 39, were seen riding a motorcycle at the intersection of San Martín Avenue in the town of Colombres by personnel from the East Directorate of Dangerous Drugs, who carried out the procedure to seize the illegal substances and proceeded to arrest the individuals. The Narcotics Unit also issued an order for the confiscation of the seized drugs.

Police authorities from various regional units conduct preventive controls daily to avoid the commission of crimes, including drug trafficking. During one of these routine patrols on Provincial Route 303, a suspect with the revolver and cartridges was found, leading to the initiation of the corresponding legal actions.
