In the middle of the program "Mañanisima" hosted by Carmen Barbieri and on the context of the first anniversary of the show, the chef Santiago del Azar surprised everyone by declaring his love live to the panelist Majo Martino. The situation arose while Del Azar along with Alberto Martino and Barbieri presented a section dedicated to a "taco party". Santiago pointed to Majo and expressed: "I’m thrilled because here I found the love of my life who is sitting there." After the chef's declaration, Barbieri insisted on the topic, pointing out to Martino that Santiago had said she was the love of his life. Surprised, the panelist asked if the chef was not in a relationship, to which Santiago replied no with anyone in particular. Majo Martino, for her part, later and off the air, rejected Del Azar's romantic proposal explaining that he used to compliment her in private saying she looked very pretty. Despite considering him a good work colleague, Martino made it clear that she did not want to mix work and personal matters. Between surprised and bewildered, Majo questioned the timing Santiago chose to make his confession, expressing: "Did you wait until today to tell me? It’s very intense."
