Mirtha Legrand, known for having participated in 36 films as a leading actress, praised the quality of Argentine cinema, considering it the most relevant Spanish-speaking cinema. With a humorous tone, she quoted a phrase from Martín Fierro during her speech at the award ceremony. She also emphasized the love her family has for cinema, stressing the importance of keeping the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) active.
Upon receiving her award, presented by Teté Coustarot, Mirtha Legrand expressed her desire for the INCAA not to be closed, highlighting the fundamental role it plays in the Argentine film industry. During the event, the renowned television figure shared her joy for celebrating such a meaningful ceremony, where she was alongside other prominent personalities from the field, such as Susana Giménez and Moria Casán.
