Subsequently, the music volume was lowered to serve as a background for a visual prelude that recited the names of her songs like a prayer to a saint, showing us the prayer of Saint Amanda Miguel, the master of love affairs, of the heartbroken, of those who love much and receive little. Once in character and with her voice warmed up, Amanda Miguel took the stage; adorned in a red tunic dress, her iconic hair, a fan, and that powerful voice with its distinctive Argentine tone that sings of unrequited love. The musical evening kicked off with “Duende”, followed by “Las Pequeñas Cosas”, “Dudas”, and “Ámame Una Vez Más”, igniting the emotions of the audience. One of the most emotional moments of the night was when the image of Diego Verdaguer (RIP) was projected on the screens while Amanda dedicated a few words to him and prepared to sit at the piano to perform some of the songs made famous by her beloved Diego. The most sung-along to was “Volveré”, with which they paid tribute to him with nostalgia and applause. The evening of heartbreak continued to the rhythm of “Hagamos un Trato”, “Mi Buen Corazón”, “El Gato y yo”, “Él Me Mintió”, and, to finish, one of the most anticipated songs of the night, “Castillos”. A song that has become a classic of today and always in the musical list of heartbreak, with which Amanda has earned a place in the hearts of a younger audience thanks to the series “Mentiras”. A concert that, in addition to the presence of Amanda Miguel, featured the performance of great musicians on stage who made each song an experience worthy of the OTI awards. With a practically full venue, Amanda Miguel presented at the Josefa Auditorium of our city as part of her tour “Él Me Mintió”; a tour with which she celebrates 45 years of her artistic career and was the perfect pretext for, for an hour and a half, to take her longtime fans and new ones on a musical journey through those songs of love and, above all, heartbreak that have made her “Saint Amanda Miguel”, the patron saint of the heartbroken. After 21:30, and after a considerable wait for the show to begin, the first notes of what was a general introduction by some of her hits were heard; songs that people recognized from the first chord and did not hesitate to sing along with all their might. While the show featured very simple production elements—a screen, light shows, pyrotechnics—it was a performance where the protagonist was the music, the vocal skill of Mrs. Amanda Miguel, which shows us the reason for her 45 years of career, the public's affection, and why her music continues to conquer broken hearts.
