Argentine musician L-Gante was detained by police for driving without a driver's license. The incident took place on Friday, November 7th, in General Rodríguez, Buenos Aires Province. The singer, whose real name is Elián Valenzuela, was stopped at a police checkpoint. It turned out that his driver's license is invalid. The musician spent several hours in the station until his mother brought the car's documents. His lawyer, Leandro Sigal, explained that Valenzuela has a double disqualification from driving and has repeatedly broken the law. The lawyer also stated that he has asked the prosecutor's office to request the singer's immediate arrest. After being detained for several minutes, the police released L-Gante. The musician himself stated that he does not have a driver's license because he is disqualified from driving.
