Attorney Ana Rosenfeld stated that her client, a Guatemalan ticketing company that purchased the rights to the 'Maradona' brand, is initiating legal actions. 'This is a significant amount of money, and if they sold a project under the name Maradona, it's necessary to understand what authorization they had to do so,' concluded the lawyer.
In turn, Verónica Ojeda only responded: 'I am unaware of what she says or who her clients are.'
Ojeda mentioned that she paid a large sum of money to Dalma and Giannina Maradona, Verónica Ojeda, and Junior. 'I have always kept things separate since Dieguito was born,' the businesswoman elaborated.
When asked if the minor was always 'disdained' compared to the other children of the Argentine star, the media personality denied it: 'No, I think they want to hurt me, and in doing so, they hurt Dieguito.'
She also explained the absence of the iconic footballer's other descendants: 'Junior is in Italy and obviously couldn't make it. Jana is in Uruguay, and of course, if she had been invited, she would have been there because she travels back and forth, but she wasn't invited.'
'The bond will be eternal, and when Dieguito is grown, he will answer for himself. He has a strong character,' she added.
Ojeda also expressed her annoyance that her 12-year-old son, Dieguito Fernando, learned about the event in honor of his father, Diego Armando Maradona, through social media. The event was organized by the streaming channel where Dalma Maradona works, and the influencer did not invite him.
'Look at my face. Everyone signed except Jana,' Ojeda stated, adding that she was tired and intolerant: 'I'm tired, I'm intolerant, I can't tolerate anything anymore.'
She also said she would spend Christmas with her family, and everyone with their own.
However, the event not only caused family discord but also legal issues. Attorney Ana Rosenfeld would initiate legal actions for the lack of response from the brand that bought the rights to the surname, an issue that also arose from a previous family project.
