
The Government of the province of Buenos Aires has declared a holiday for Wednesday, February 19, in the municipality of Indio Rico, allowing its inhabitants to enjoy a day of rest and commemorate the founding of the locality, also representing a tribute to its history.
"These celebrations will strengthen local identity and recall the achievements made over the years," said an official spokesperson. The next long weekend will be four days long for the celebration of Carnival, from Saturday, March 1 to Tuesday, March 4.
The holiday calendar for 2025 in Argentina includes 19 holidays, distributed throughout the year. With February and September as the only months without national holidays, various important dates stand out to be celebrated.
The holiday on February 19 is intended for the inhabitants of Indio Rico, in the party of Coronel Pringles, who will be able to enjoy the day off and participate in the activities organized in the locality to commemorate its founding anniversary.
