ANSES Confirms Changes to AUH Payments in 2024

The National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) has confirmed the economic boosts that holders of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) will receive before the end of the year. However, despite these increases, it has been indicated that beneficiaries will not receive a bonus in December, as this second payment of the Annual Complementary Salary (SAC) is exclusively intended for retirees and pensioners.

Instead of the bonus, AUH holders will receive the last increase of the year, which will be adjusted according to the inflation rate of October 2024. Additionally, they will continue to receive the extra for the submission of the AUH Booklet and the Food Card. In this regard, it has been specified that the monthly amount for November will be $72,710.

The Mobility Law establishes that benefits and family allowances will increase by 3.5% in November, based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of September. Furthermore, another increase is expected in December according to the inflation of October reported by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC).

The payment calendar of ANSES for AUH in November has been set as follows: for those with ID numbers ending in 0, it will be Friday, November 8, and so on until Friday, November 22, for ID numbers ending in 9. The amount to be received for each child will be $90,888 after the 3.5% increase is applied.

In summary, AUH beneficiaries will receive increases in their payments corresponding to the monthly inflation data, excluding the bonus for the last month of the year.
