Former Secretary of Energy, Emilio Apud, revealed that the technicians of the PRO party are collaborating with the Government on a plan aimed at substantially reducing subsidies, with the exception of beneficiaries of the social tariff. According to Apud, this collaboration marks the beginning of a close relationship between PRO technicians and the ruling government.

"Now we have to solve the problem. It is the start of a collaboration of the PRO's technical teams with the government," said Apud. He also mentioned that President Macri tasked him with starting talks with Daniel González, coordinating minister of the area that directly reports to Luis Caputo, Minister of Economy.

Regarding tariff adjustments, Apud pointed out that there is still a margin of between 30% and 40% increase for users who do not yet pay the full tariff. According to the former Secretary of Energy in Macri's government, users classified as N1 were those who paid the full amount, while N2 and N3 users paid less than half.

Last week, del Carmen Tettamanti assumed the Secretary of Energy position, replacing Eduardo RodrĂguez Chirilo. Apud emphasized that this measure is part of an agreement between Macri and Javier Milei.
