Despite this, 7 out of 10 businesses reported that results were equal to or better than expected. The sectors varied in performance, influenced by financing options and product prices.

They highlighted that the household appliance sector had a positive balance thanks to financing offers, while six out of ten shops offered promotions on the date. The strongest sales were recorded between Friday and Saturday, with three sectors increasing and three declining.

Specifically, sales of footwear and leather goods fell by 0.6% compared to the previous Mother's Day.
