The Comprehensive Medical Assistance Program (PAMI) informed about retirees and pensioners who will be able to access 100% coverage in the free medication program. To access this benefit, the elderly enrolled must meet a series of essential requirements. Among them, having net income less than 1.5 minimum pensions, not being affiliated with a prepaid medical plan, not owning more than one property, not possessing aircraft or luxury boats, not having a vehicle less than 10 years old, and not having corporate assets that demonstrate economic solvency.
It is worth noting that retirees and pensioners with a Unique Disability Certificate (CUD) will have total coverage, even if they do not meet all requirements. Additionally, those who live with beneficiaries holding a CUD will also enjoy a 100% benefit, provided that the total household income does not exceed 3 minimum pensions. To access free medications, enrolled seniors must follow a series of steps, including presenting ID, a prescription signed by their primary doctor, a sworn statement, and if needing more than 4 medications, filling out the corresponding form and scheduling an appointment on the official website to attend in person.
