Former Argentine President Mauricio Macri criticized Javier Milei's government regarding the privatization of state-owned companies, expressing his disagreement with the lack of closure of any company during more than a year of management. He emphasized that these entities consume resources without generating value, labeling the previous decision of the country as risky.

'Over a year has passed and we haven't closed any. What Massa did was criminal; he left the country on the brink of hyperinflation,' said Macri. However, he praised the need to advance more quickly so that citizens can notice tangible results from the new policies implemented by Milei's government.

During an event, Macri expressed his support for this government's fiscal adjustment policies, although he differentiated his approach regarding state management. He highlighted that Milei's project needs to be consolidated through an economic course based on institutional stability and teamwork.

Moreover, Macri stressed that the PRO is the guarantor of change and the Republic, believing that decentralization of power is key to prevent everything from depending on a single person. He proposed allocating resources to reduce taxes, especially in the productive sector like agriculture, to promote job creation and production.

Regarding the figure of former Economy Minister Sergio Massa, Macri praised current Minister Luis 'Toto' Caputo for his fiscal adjustment policy and for managing to stop the fiscal deficit in the country. He emphasized the importance of working on building strong institutions for the country's development, stating that change without institutions is neither sustainable nor effective.
