The Union of Wood Industry Unions of the Argentine Republic (USIMRA) and the Argentine Federation of Wood Industry and Related (FAIMA) agreed on a salary increase in three installments for the period January-May 2025 after intense bargaining negotiations.

The increase will be divided as follows: 2.5% in January and February based on the salaries of December 2024, 2% in March-April based on the salaries of February, and 2% in May based on the salaries of April. Each initially non-remunerative installment will be incorporated into the remunerative salary in the following months.

The unions also achieved the inclusion of an additional amount for perfect attendance on the non-remunerative amounts. The definition of a percentage additional for seniority remains pending, a topic to be discussed in the following week according to the union's report.
