According to the Argentine News Agency, the official announcement explained that the move seeks to 'facilitate organization' and community participation, a decision that impacts the school calendar, commercial activity, and municipal logistics. In parallel, it was confirmed that on the night of Thursday, the 19th, there will be central celebrations in the Urban Park with cultural and musical proposals open to the community, with a main show already publicly mentioned. The point that remains open—and is usually the most sensitive—is the same as always: how much the event will cost, how artists, sound, and logistics were hired, and what control mechanism there will be for overspending, suppliers, and contracting. The move of the holiday also allows for another interpretation: concentrating the 'long weekend' on a specific date can benefit attendance but requires more operations (security, traffic, cleaning) and, therefore, more resources. In a context where municipalities are adjusting basic services, the discussion is not about 'whether there is a celebration,' but about the transparency of the celebration: budget, file, and accountability. With the announcement already in place, the thermometer will be twofold: real attendance and, above all, clear publication of the numbers to prevent an anniversary from turning into an uncontrolled cash box.
