Three of the four armed robbers who raided a clothing store in the Buenos Aires locality of Virreyes, in the San Fernando party, were arrested by officers of the Provincial Police. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency (NA) that the detainees are three men, aged 20, 26, and 28, while the fourth suspect is being intensively sought, as he was not found during the searches carried out at various addresses in the area. The robbery took place last Saturday at a sports clothing store located at Avellaneda 5525, between Málaga and Guatemala, in Virreyes Oeste, under the jurisdiction of the Fourth San Fernando Police Station. There, the four armed robbers entered, threatening customers and employees, and took a significant amount of clothing and cell phones from the victims. At the same time, one of them took a hat from a mannequin as he was leaving. This is how the clothing store in Virreyes, San Fernando party, was robbed. Personnel from the local Tactical Operational Group (GTO), in conjunction with GTO officers from the area, developed a series of investigative tasks that included analyzing film material from public and private cameras, collecting testimonies, field tasks, and following up on relevant information. As a result of these procedures, the perpetrators of the event were identified, and the corresponding search warrants were obtained. This is how they managed to arrest three of the four suspects, while a cell phone stolen during the robbery was seized and sports clothing belonging to the affected store was recovered. The seizure of clothing worn by the suspects at the time of the incident is of probatory interest. The Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) for criminal matters of San Fernando, belonging to the San Isidro Judicial Department, is handling the case.
