This afternoon, a young motorcyclist lost his life at the beach of Villa Gesell while practicing enduro, colliding head-on with a quad bike. The tragic accident occurred around 5 PM on a sand circuit near Route 11. Despite the quick arrival of emergency teams in all-terrain vehicles, unfortunately, the driver had already passed away at the scene.
According to witness reports, the victim, identified as Gabriel Cozzolino, was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident; however, it was not properly secured with the necessary safety measures. On the other hand, the quad bike was driven by Vital Alberto Cazanave.
This tragic event adds to another one that recently occurred on the beaches of the province of Buenos Aires, where a report from yesterday informed about the death of a driver of a larger UTV vehicle in the Partido de la Costa.
