Arrests Made in Robbery and Homicide Case in Vicente López

Two men, one 30 years old and the other 43, were arrested for homicide during the robbery of a 55-year-old woman in the Buenos Aires town of Vicente López. According to police sources reported to the Noticias Argentinas agency, Montiel Torino Elian Emmanuel was arrested on February 27, while the 43-year-old man, named Monge Rodolfo Ismael, was captured this Wednesday after shooting López Silvia Graciela. Additionally, the police seized a Ford Territory, a Toyota Yaris, and a VW Fox on February 27. Furthermore, the case is being handled by the UFI Vicente López Oeste under the authority of Judge Gastón Larramendi.

On February 26, the 55-year-old woman and her husband were driving a Chevrolet Tracker when, in the street of José Hernández at 5640, they were approached by two armed men, and while attempting to escape the scene, one of them fired a shot that hit López in the neck. After the initial inquiries, DDI along with EPDS of Vicente López were able to establish that a few meters away, the criminals, armed, stole a white Ford Territory and fled with the aid of a blue Toyota Yaris. Additionally, it is highlighted that inside the Ford van, the owner's cell phone reported geolocation within Loma Hermosa.

After the search, the Ford Territory and the Toyota Yaris were found on Matheu 4400, and the latter vehicle on Sarmiento 1836, both unoccupied. In this situation, an Undercover Observation Device was set up around both vehicles, and the officers established that after abandoning the vehicles, the criminals boarded a black VW Fox that was parked in front of the Dr. Diego Thomson Hospital. Later, the 30-year-old man circulating in the area was apprehended, and security camera evidence was reviewed to ensure they had captured the correct person.

After two weeks, following several investigative tasks, it was established that the second suspect could be hiding in a house located on José Ingenieros and Bolívar in the town of José León Suárez. Finally, they went to the location, and the DDI, with the support of local officers, recognized the man who had murdered the woman, despite having altered his appearance, being intercepted and ultimately arrested.
