A young man was arrested after being identified as the person responsible for shooting a woman during an attempted theft of her truck in Vicente López, Argentina. The alleged perpetrator, identified as Elian Emmanuel M. T., was questioned by prosecutor Gastón Larramendi. In his statement, the young man claimed he was innocent and that at the time of the crime, he was at home and had gone out on a blue bicycle.

In the account of the events, it is mentioned that the crime took place just a few meters from a police station when some thieves attempted to steal the victim's truck, identified as Silvia Lepez. In response to the situation, the woman indicated to her husband to escape, at which point one of the criminals shot her in the head. After the incident, the criminals managed to flee the scene.

According to the police report, as they were unable to complete the theft of the truck, the thieves stole a white Ford Territory car on the streets of Porchia and Misiones, making their next victim Sergio Daniel Cubino. They later abandoned both vehicles at Matheu 4400, near the Diego Thompson Municipal Hospital, and moved to a black Volkswagen Fox car that they had parked, which was captured by the cameras.

After reviewing the recordings, the location of the car was identified in José León Suárez, leading to the arrest of the young suspect. In his statements, the detained insisted that he was innocent and had never committed a theft or killed anyone while pointing to another individual as responsible for the crime against Silvia Lepez in Vicente López.
