A 22-year-old young man was shot and killed in the city of Tolosa while he was with a friend, who had previous conflicts with one of the attackers.
Sources confirmed to the Argentine News agency that the victim was identified as Hugo Agustín González. He was taken in a private car to the Gutiérrez Hospital with two gunshot wounds — one in the back and one in the head — where he died shortly after.
The incident occurred when González was with a friend nicknamed “Mulla.” Several men arrived at the scene, and according to acquaintances, they were looking for this companion due to an old conflict. During the confrontation, the victim allegedly took off a hat from one of those present and returned it; but minutes later, a man identified by the initials D.M.V. (22), residing at 18 between 530 and 531, returned accompanied by two males and shot him several times.
Officers from the Sixth Precinct arrived at the scene and found a crowd of neighbors throwing blunt objects, which hindered the police's access to the location.
The case was filed as homicide and is under the jurisdiction of the UFI 11 of La Plata, led by Álvaro Garganta. So far, no arrests have been reported. The Court of Guarantees No. 5, presided over by Marcela Garmendia, is also involved.
The file requested the intervention of experts and the collaboration of the DDI to advance in the full identification of the perpetrators and the seizure of evidence.
